Spiritual and Social Maturity...

Where did time fly away to? I feel as if we were a group of Olympian athletes training for that big moment then, POOF! The moment escapes as quickly as it came. The point I am trying to make here is...where did L.I.O.L. go?! I mean it was rehearsals, deadlines, cleaning, painting, sometimes screaming, need I go any further? Why all that work, time, and effort? I believe that God intends for us to prove to him the desire within us to see him work in our lives. Wow! Did He ever! 

The power of God was so deep the first night of the conference that Bro. Pixler did not even preach! It's amazing what plans can be set aside when God decides to step in! I want to take a moment here to thank our music director, Sis Morton. All of the wonderful new material ushered in a deep move of the spirit. This requires much time and effort on her part. We are blessed! Saturday morning Bro Pixler spoke to us about "It's Time to Grow Up!" and what an awesome sermon that was! His wisdom and practical guidance is to be esteemed. It didn't stop there. Sunday morning Pastor Morton gave us a five-star message about "Living it Out Loud!" The energy in that service was amazing! I appreciate a sermon that is presented with a passion of that capacity.

All that being stated, L.I.O.L. was not just a time of spiritual growth but social maturity as well. Seeing new faces, meeting new friends, experiencing the thrill of all these people coming together for one purpose. So a BIG, thank you to all those who made L.I.O.L. happen! Only Heaven holds the secret of what is to come next Live it Out Loud!
