Who doesnt love a beautiful spring day? Cool breeze, warm sunshine, days spent laughing and enjoying nature with good friends. Does it get any better? Upon thinking back to last nights Guy Talk/Girl Talk, one can realize the benefits of this time of year. Inner-g youth gathered at the church to hear some sound teaching from Pastor and Sis. Morton. As a guy myself, I enjoyed the lesson on spiritual strength and the finer arts of being a man. (in the unique, often humorous manner of which Pastor has earned his trademark!:) I also recieved great feedback from the young ladies as well. Sis Morton is quite the "preacher" from what I hear! We then loaded up and headed to Wildwood Park for some "capture-the-flag" (with a cool twist to the traditional game) When it became completely dark and we became completely exhausted it was time for some ice cream! Off they went to Baskin Robbins...Simply put, inner-g had a great evening...sound teaching, fun at the park, and ICE CREAM! Thank you, youth staff, for creating an evening to remember...HAPPY SPRING!
p.s. For those of you who may not be familiar with Wildwood, the above picture is the "musical harp" @ the park...An amazing work of art that causes one to scream when it is played. Beautiful to one's sence of sight though.
